Nigerian music sensation and a former Chocolate City act, Brymo performed a cover of one of Fela’s classic “Palava” on The Cover Show hosted by Aristokrat TV and Spinlet.
According to Brymo, “I am an avid Fela student, the music, the message , the rebellion, the we no go gree nature of it is amazing.
“As much as i do not think that as a people as Nigerians we have made the most of what Fela did or what he said, we haven’t really changed much. But still the legacy lives on. For those who care, there is always something to grab in there”.
“A more honest society, a more diligent leadership, a more truthful and sincere followership, these were the things Fela represented. So when trouble sleep, yanga go wake am”, he said.
